India, Asia and Gulf Passport and Visa Photos
Indian passport, OCI and e-visa photos, plus China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, the UAE and the Philippines.
Photo rules across India, Asia and the Gulf vary widely in size, shape and file limits. An Indian passport photo is 35 x 45 mm, the OCI card and the Indian visa use a square photo, and a Chinese visa photo is 33 x 48 mm. Many of these countries have moved to online visas, where the upload limits in pixels and kilobytes matter as much as the photo itself.
These guides cover India's passport, OCI and e-visa photos along with China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, the UAE and the Philippines. Each lists the official portal or consulate page its figures come from, and says when the published rules are silent or unclear.
The document pages hold the exact spec and a free check: Indian passport, Indian visa, OCI card, China visa, Japan visa, Vietnam e-visa and UAE visa.
