Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Passport Photo Maker (“we”) collects when you use thepassportphotomaker.com, why, and the choices you have. The data controller is Antoine Duno, 25 rue Villebois-Mareuil, 78110 Le Vésinet, France.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist or newsletter. We only email you after you confirm it, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Account details (name, email, sign-in method) if you create an account. Sign-in is handled by our provider Clerk.
• Photos you upload, once the photo tool is available. They are used only to create your files and are deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
• The files you buy, kept for one year after payment so you can download them again, then deleted. Files you don't buy are deleted after 24 hours.
• Anonymous usage statistics: pages viewed, referring website, campaign tags, device type and browser. We don't use cookies for this. Visitors are counted with a one-way hash that changes every day, so we can't identify or follow you across days or sites.

Why we use it

To provide the service you asked for, to send the emails you requested, to keep the site secure, and to understand which pages are useful. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it

We rely on a few providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Clerk (accounts) and Resend (email). Data may be processed in the United States.

How long we keep it

Emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Account data is kept while your account exists. Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours. Purchased files are kept for one year after payment, or until you ask us to delete them. Usage statistics don't contain personal identifiers.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to its use, by emailing hello@thepassportphotomaker.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
